In most cases, we allow this (i.e. Bobby Trendy). I've been asking someone to prove me wrong and give me some examples of gays on mainstream TV series, that are not embarrassing. I have yet to get a response.

This is an oldie but a goodie! The Joey and Carlo Pool Party took place back in 2003 at the CCBC resort in Palm Springs, California. Proud TV (formally PNN TV back then) was there to cover all the festivities. It was like a gay porn star company picnic. Most of the time, the way the group handles problems is so rediculous, they usually blame the mishaps on the beer they drank at the goals & objectives meeting. This cartoon has been reviewed as "Gay South Park", "Gay Trailer Trash", "Finally an insult to the straight community"

Proud Television goes to Palm Springs, California for a Unity Rally. Love Won Out, a Focus on the Family-sponsored group, held a conference on Saturday, September 23, 2006 in Indian Wells to encourage parents of gay children, or those who believe their children might be gay, to send their children to ?gay conversion therapy" camps and programs. This is the same group that published an article suggesting that slavery has been historically misunderstood and that it was actually a good thing... for the slaves! The straight and gay residents of the Coachella Valley, who for many years have lived in harmony, were collectively offended and outraged by this attempt to bring hatred and prejudice into our community. The goal of the Unity Rally and it's related events was to provide counterpoint to Love Won Out's prejudice and judgement of people who are different from them. The Unity Rally will also provide information and resources for parents and teens who may be seeking assistance understanding differences among the members of their families.
