Then we tear into Bill Gates' dress sense. Additionally, Jim's Dad now has a G4 Powerbook so we discuss the whys and wherefores of that purchase and ask the question: is Norton Internet Security more trouble than it's worth?

Someone has had far too much time on their hands, as they've stuck a Mac Mini in an old SE30 case. Will "Don't call me Wesley" Wheaton has a podcast and it's quite good...apparently. The Brits, not to be outdone by American cars with iPod docks, have fitted iPod charging units to the cabins on their new Type 45 Destroyers. Oh, and the RIAA know where you live.

It's rant time! In our eleventh show Jim has a bone to pick with the guys who operate the overhead information signs on motorways. Karl has a run in with a Dell server. We also whinge about how Apple has put sub-standard graphics into the new Intel Mini. And how Apple is perhaps a little slack with security updates. And how the Origami devices look like they're going to suck badly. In fact the only thing we don't rant about is John C. Dvorak - whom we don't mention at all.

Boot Camp! In our twelth show we discuss Boot Camp and the new software from Parallels - two ways of achieving basically the same thing, ie running Windows on an Intel Macintosh. Then Karl discovers that Police Dogs are getting cyber on your ass.

Episode 13 (It's Blue Screened Again!)
It's Blue Screened Again! In our thirteeth show Jim has a play with...oh hang on, it just blue screened again...Vista, and isn't impressed. In other news, Bill Gates goes to...it just blue screened again...Vietnam and is treated like a pop star, there was a wonderful hoax involving Air Force One and you can now get your child GPS tagged. And it just blue screened again. Quality.

Episode 14 (Max Headroom)
Max Headroom In our fourteenth show Jim chats about the Apple vs. Apple court case that sort of finished recently, speculates about the forthcoming iBook replacement, the MacBook, and reports that George Lucas has finally seen sense and is releasing the original Star Wars trilogy in un-altered form. Karl talks about wifi on the train, how the UK is screwing up Project 'Reverb', and has some new headphones that he's rather attached to.

Episode 15 (Tarnished Vistas)
Tarnished Vistas In our fifteenth show Karl is hyper on coffee and Jim has had a little too much whisky, so a third person is drafted in to try to make some sense. Unfortunately it's Jim's wife Carol. Always a mistake. She gives her impressions of Vista (now that Jim has a stable version running) while Jim and Karl roam over the geek landscape, taking in some sights such as Starbuck's proposed music download service, the fact that we're only going to get one version of the PS3 here in Blighty, and Guess The DVD.

Tell the crickets to shut up In our sixteenth show there's not a lot happening in the Mac world so Karl talks about the RIAA, BitTorrent and has a new toy to play with - a Slingbox. In amongst this Jim plays with some sound effects and we remember just how bad 'The Hulk' was.

Episode 18 (Probably)
We're back and...well, we're back. We take a ramble around the tech world, catching up with what's been happening during our absence, as well as explaing why we've been absent. We go on the whole hard drive encryption adventure and talk about how Seagate is to launch hard drive encryption, but still working on Vista hibernation issues. Microsoft have their own software based solution (as do Apple). And we offer a good third party open source solution with the excellent Truecrypt.

Episode 19 (Zzz...une)
Zune: Who cares?. The Zune is unleashed on the world and...no-one seems to notice. Jim finds a good Apple tune-up util and has grief with IE7 on his PC. Karl has grief with Windows Genuine Advantage telling him he's a thief when, in fact, he's not, and has fun and games with anti-virus.

Episode 20 (Rumours, Statistics and Numbers)
Rumours, Statistics and numbers. MacWorld January 2007 is fast approaching and the rumour-mills are running at full speed. Jim takes a look at some of the more likely and outlandish rumours. Meanwhile Karl discovers that one school has removed 802.11 wireless as it might be harmful, the PS3 sells out (mainly due to Sony only releasing 10 units), and a pirate gets seven years for copying 'The Core'. Good grief.

Episode 21 (MacWorld Expo and CES)
MacWorld Expo and CES Karl takes a look at CES and passes comment on LG Super Player, Sharp's 108 Inch LCD, Sony's Vaio UX and Microsoft's fashion sense in general. Jim, meanwhile, takes a look at Apple's MacWorld which was notable for not actually having any Macs in it. Instead they've announced some sort of phone thingy.
