The Haiku RoadCasts Episodes - | Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 6 | So we vanish for almost two months without a word, and then we offer up two RoadCasts in a week?! What gives? I'll tell you ... It's (Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Winter Solstice) time! And as a very special treat, we're proud to offer three new holiday-themed compositions available solely through the RoadCast, performed live in the Pierce Street studios. We also bring back the BeerCast for one night and one night only, and talk about some other stuff, like our upcoming Dubliner Shows (40th St. and Thunderbird, Jan. 12 and 13). Keep an eye out soon for news about a special guest appearance at those shows that could make them among our best ever! In the meantime, Happy Holidays and be good to one another. And don't forget to check out the previous RoadCast episode, chock full of music and news! | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 6 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 5 | Wow, we've been away for awhile! Did you miss us? You know we missed you! This time around we feature our first real special guest, Boston-based singer-songwriter and longtime friend of Chris's Jon Waterman (visit www.jonwaterman.com to see more!). We also talk about some fun past shows (with sound snippets of some of the other acts) and upcoming shows -- incidentally, we misspoke in the RoadCast: The Dubliner shows are coming up on Jan. 12 and 13, not Jan. 5 and 6. Enjoy this one quickly because our Christmas RoadCast is hot on this one's heels! | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 5 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 1 | Finally, we begin Season Two of the Haiku Roadcasts! And of course that means two things. One, we've finished our debut album! And second, it means it's time for some changes in the Roadcast format. We've ditched a lot of our side commentary (including the controversial Beercasts) and opted for a shorter, leaner all-music podcast. Coming up this season, we'll talk about each of the songs on the album, how it got written, how it got recorded ... all those sorts of things. First up: Take Me Out. | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 1 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Roadcast #12 | This time around, it is Richard's turn to look like a fool! (Okay, not much different than any other time ...) Also, Erik kicks it off with a recap the latest performances, Chris reads some "listener-mail," Richard reads a passage from a real nail-biter of a reference/instructional book, and -- big shocker -- we talk beer (Hobgoblin Ale, Tetley's Ale and Fishtail I.P.A. -- not to metion some ideas on the origin of I.P.A.). BTW, Erik is very proud of this week's sound FX. | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast #12 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Roadcast #11 | To start things off, we make Erik look like a fool! Then, we look back at Bands on Grand in the rain and look forward to our upcoming shows. We also talk about Richard's grand scheme for bird flu masks, and beer (Spaten Oktoberfest Ur-Maerzen, Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale and Sierra Nevada's 2006 I.P.A.), then bring back our celebrity ImpersaGuest(tm) segment, talking with Paul Reubens from beyond the grave. He keeps insisting he's not dead, but we know better! | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast #11 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Roadcast #5 | This time around, we have some stuff to show and tell! There's new intro music to the podcast courtesy of our long endeavors in the studio (it's very rough, so chances are you won't even recognize it by the time the album comes along), as well as, somewhere in there, a complete song! Lots more beer is drunk, of course, contributing to this week's beercast (Negra Modelo, Fat Tire and Deschutes' Jubilale, if you must know). More discussions of our lives and about life in general, and of course news about our forthcoming album, which comes ever more forth every week. Our celebrity ImpersaGuest(tm) this week is Catherine Deneuve! | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast #5 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Roadcast #4 | Richard is back, so we talk about our holidays, particularly criminal activity over the holidays (not by us, silly!), our astonishing progress on the debut album and absurd superstitions about young musicians dying in plane crashes. We also feature an extra-long beercast this time, with three different beers! | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Roadcast #4 | Play in Popup.

| Haiku Rd. Podcast #1 | Hello and welcome! For our first podcast, we get around to playing those Christmas songs you guys asked for (very rough ... it's three guys sitting in a living room playing in front of 3 microphones -- what do you expect. We also update you on where the album is, where we're going, what it was like for Richard to discuss sex with his six-year-old, that sort of thing. We offer what will probably be the first of many beer reviews, this one for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Send us your comments at podcast@haikurd.com. Visit our site at www.haikurd.com. And as always, stay cool. | Get at Short URL | Download Haiku Rd. Podcast #1 | Play in Popup.
