| Today in Tech 3: Life Without the Net | Yes, it's true. Erik has been gone from the internet for a week and I'm back to record the show, finally. Got moved into my apartment and the whole place is wired now so everything will go back to normal. In fact, I have faster download/upload speeds than I had at my house. Now that I'm in El Dorado and closer to Wichita, it only gets better. Tonight is a recap of what's going on with everybody on the show, and some talk of technology company alliances. | to send to friends | Download Today in Tech 3: Life Without the Net | Play in Popup.

| Wednesday Tech 4: Zanzibar | I know, it's Tuesday, and we're doing the tech show. It seems that our iPhone reviewer cannot be with us tonight, so the Tuesday Night Mac Show will go live tomorrow night. Just to clear all that up. Otherwise, enjoy the latest tech industry news. We'll talk about what technology laws our presidential candidates should be for or against, a new crackberry on the market with a special capability, and an ancient fish thought to be extinct is captured by fishermen. | to send to friends | Download Wednesday Tech 4: Zanzibar | Play in Popup.

| Thursday Movies 3: Transformers | Just got back from the movie, and all I can say is...AWESOME! The special effects, the humor, acting, everything was perfect. It was just the way a Transformers movie should have been, and it exceeded my expectations. Never would have thought it'd turn out this non-fanboy friendly, but I'd say it's for everybody. And I have to mention, my brother and I saw it together, so he'll be on the tonight as well. Look forward to a great episode reviewing the film, and remember, that this might just be a spoiler. | to send to friends | Download Thursday Movies 3: Transformers | Play in Popup.

| Weekend News 2: Art Bell | I'm sorry to say this, but a legendary voice in radio has just left the arena. No, Art Bell, hasn't died, but he has retired. He will no longer host the Coast to Coast AM show on weekends. George Noory or other radio talents will probably take his place. However, Art did say that he would come back and do specials, and god, I hope he does. It'd be sad to never hear him talk of extra-terrestrials and governmental conspiracies again. The guy had 30 million listeners so he obviously has some good content on his show. I listen over his $7 a month podcast, and you really do get a bang for your buck. But that is our main topic for tonight. We'll also talk about the upcoming election, and McCain's failure to raise enough money for his campaign. Looks like he's out of the race, but Hillary and Barrack are the obvious winners so far, when it comes to raising money. Then a new law in Arizona, which will put an end to businesses hiring illegal immigrants. All this and more is on tonight's show. | to send to friends | Download Weekend News 2: Art Bell | Play in Popup.

| Thursday Movies 2: The Office | I had to do this. I had to discuss my favorite show on television, The Office. During the episode, I'll talk about all the different characters ranging from Michael to Angela, every single one and their different personalities. Then I spend some time reminiscing about the pranks Jim and Pam played on Dwight, and how much I miss those days. Actually, I went back and watch almost all the episodes in the car on vacation, on the long road to Arizona. So glad to see there'll be a fourth season. Thank god! | to send to friends | Download Thursday Movies 2: The Office | Play in Popup.

| Wednesday Tech 3: Another Digg | Once again, Talkshoe is down. At least, for us hosts it is. Couldn't even start the show, so I just decided to do it in Garageband. Actually turned out to have better quality. Realized that the computer I'm recording to has an awful video card, and part of the line noise is coming through that. Anyway, tonight's episode covers the last bit of iPhone news before it goes big on Friday. I did that, since Thursday is a movie review, and there's no room for any sort of tech news. So the show covers that and a new site called Pownce. That's how it's spelled, and it's another one of Kevin Rose's creations, vastly different from Digg. It lets you send links, messages, and events to other people in your circle. This would be great for podcasters, being able to send out invites to a live show. I'll definitely look into this, but that's the news for today. Tune in and enjoy. | to send to friends | Download Wednesday Tech 3: Another Digg | Play in Popup.

| Tuesday Mac 3: iPhone Unlimited | Finally, Apple released what would be its data plans for it's phone, right before its release date, the 29th of June. I will say first of all that I am not getting one, even though I would if I had the dough. That's the only problem really, but tonight, that's what we're going to discuss. That's it. This is Apple's special night to shine on "The Glimp", even though it will again soon enough in October with the release of Leopard. Tune in, and enjoy the conversation. | to send to friends | Download Tuesday Mac 3: iPhone Unlimited | Play in Popup.

| Wednesday Tech 2: Laptops > Desktops | Tonight is a discussion on notebooks (laptops), and in my opinion, they're better than desktop machines that just sit on a desk. We're already seeing a rise is sales of these machines, so it could actually be true. But before that, we talk about Safari 3 beta for Windows, and if it's actually worth the time. The version for OSX is lightning fast, but XP and Vista had a tougher time running it supposedly. Then, the Church of England asks Japan to join their fight against Sony in the abolishment of violent video games, and the FBI warns American college students of another terror attack. So sounds like foreign students are going to have a more difficult time in our universities, and possibly persecution. All this and more news is on the show this evening. | to send to friends | Download Wednesday Tech 2: Laptops > Desktops | Play in Popup.

| Monday Gaming 2: Shadowrun | Things went very wrong tonight, very wrong indeed. Zach was on his cell phone and I didn't have the ability to mute him, without completely cutting him out, so I just did the show over again. Talked about the same stuff we did on the first recording, except I was the only person doing the show. Enjoy this though. It's very high quality audio, so enjoy it while you can. | to send to friends | Download Monday Gaming 2: Shadowrun | Play in Popup.

| Weekend News 1: Paris Hilton | It's been an eventful weekend, it really has. The new topic of the night is of course Paris Hilton, our favorite little rich girl. She's been going to jail and coming back home quite frequently. Didn't think she would completely lose it on the way back to the prison, but she sure did. But don't expect just Paris gossip tonight, oh no. We've got plenty of news covering the world, like Colin Powell wanting to remove Guantanamo Bay and Lieberman's idea of attacking Iran now. All these silly ideas and more are comin' to you on The Glimp. | to send to friends | Download Weekend News 1: Paris Hilton | Play in Popup.

| Wednesday Tech 1: Backing Up | Was today busy or WHAT! Worked eight hours at the shoe store, then came home and spent another hour on Talkshoe. How ironic. Zach's in the same position Tonight, we talk about backing up your computer, and how easy it can be. You don't have to have RAID to have an efficient means of mirroring your information. But before that, we cover a little bit more on the new macbook pro and a new phone that mimics the iphone, plus some other news to fill your expectations. Tune in, and enjoy the atmosphere. | to send to friends | Download Wednesday Tech 1: Backing Up | Play in Popup.

| Tuesday Mac 1: Mabook Mania | Today, after mush speculation, the new macbook pro's were released. And thank god they were, otherwise, we wouldn't have much to chat about. Of course, Zach is awaiting the iPhone ever so patiently, and you'll hear him assure us that he's doing so. That's pretty usual, so tonight will explain what these new notebook machines do, that the ones before didn't. For example, the new mb pro sports a low battery consumption LED display and new Core 2 Duo Santa Rosa chips. That's just a little of what you can expect tonight, so tune in on Talkshoe.com, or download the show afterward. | to send to friends | Download Tuesday Mac 1: Mabook Mania | Play in Popup.

| Monday Gaming 1: Counterstrike Source | This would be the first episode of The Glimp, as well as the first installment of the Monday Night Gaming Show. Tonight, like every other, will cover news topics that have importance to the subject of the show. For example, we'll discuss how cooperative gaming is coming back into consoles and PC's and what the schedule for E3 '07 is. Then, after news is done, the focus of the show moves in one direction, as for tonight, Counterstrike: Source. I and others from Talkshoe will reminisce about the old days when guns blazed and frags flew, and how it hasn't ever been the same since then. Meddling kids, making all these lame ass shooters like F.E.A.R. and Halo, bleh. Anyway, that's how tonight will run, so come to Talkshoe.com and join the show or listen live. | to send to friends | Download Monday Gaming 1: Counterstrike Source | Play in Popup.
