The Bob and Rob Show's second lesson! We talked more about greetings, as well as Washington State, the area where I'm from. We also introduced our Both Sides of the Pond segment, a comparision of British and American synonyms. Greetings: How's it going? How ya doing? How ya keeping? Both Sides of the Pond braces/suspenders garter belt/suspenders drugstrore/chemist Note: The first two laugh tracks should not be in the show. I thought I had removed them.

The Bob and Rob Show's first lesson! We talked about our first names, U.K. geography and greetings that are used when meeting someone for the first time. We also gave examples of American and British words that refer to the same thing. Our names: The name 'Robert' is English; 'Roberto' is Italian or Spanish. 'Robert' can be shortened to 'Rob' or 'Bob'; 'Robbie/Robby' and 'Bobby/Bobbie' also come from 'Robert'. Greetings: A: Nice to meet you. B: Nice to meet you, too. OR A: How do you do? B: How do you do? American/British equivalents: apartment/flat truck/lorry shopping cart/trolley elevator/lift underwear/pants
