PodcasterNews.com Entertainment Episodes - | Left of Center: CHOKE: a film review | CHOKE is the new film based on Chuck Palahniuk's novel of the same name. The film is the directorial debut of Clark Gregg and stars Sam Rockwell, Anjelica Huston, Kelly MacDonald and Brad Henke.
The film is a dark comedy about sex addiction, historical interpreters, purposefully choking on food for money and one sarcastic man who desperately wants to be loved by his senile mother. Funny stuff.

| Left of Center: The documentary MOUNTAIN TOP REMOVAL | Another powerful documentary from the Cleveland International Film Festival, MOUNTAIN TOP REMOVAL takes a look at a devistating type of coal mining that literally grinds down a mountain to get at the coal seams beneath. It has to be seen to be believed. This type of mining in rural West Virginia has thrust low income inhabitants into war with massive energy companies to save their way of life and the land they hold dear.Order MOUNTAIN TOP REMOVAL on DVD from Haw River Films MOUNTAIN TOP REMOVAL site This is actually West Virginia: Cleveland International Film Festival BLUBRRY.COMInterstate 1002 podcast Door From Hell Radio | to send to friends | Download Left of Center: The documentary MOUNTAIN TOP REMOVAL | Play in Popup.

| Left of Center: Review of THE MAN FROM EARTH on DVD | The cerebral sci-fi film THE MAN FROM EARTH is a unique kind of science fiction film. The last script from Jerome Bixby (who died in 1998) the film tells the story of a college professor who floors his colleagues by telling them that he is in fact 14,000 years old and started out life as a caveman. He goes on to challenge their scientfic beliefs with this tale that some believe is lunacy and others just a cruel joke. But as the story goes on, could it all be true? | Left of Center: A review of the film ANGEL-A on DVD | ANGEL-A puts French director Luc Besson back in the director's chair after a six year absence, and it is possibly his best film to date. The film has been called a mix of It's A Wonderful Life and Wings Of Desire, but Besson has definitely taken the tale and made it his own witty and funny tale of redemption in the city of Paris. The film stars Jamel Debbouze, Rie Rasmussen and Gilbert Melki.
