It was unfortunately a very rainy day and a number of bands did not show. But the Oriskany Strings, Craig County Boys, Elkins Brothers and Big Man's Big Men bands braved the elements so the show would go on. The audience was a a mixed group ranging in age from 1 to 100. The band had their backs to a hill and were under a canvas pavilion. Rita Parady (vocals and autoharp), Gene Guilliams (vocals), Rita Parady (vocals and autoharp) and Carol Lewis (vocals and 5-string banjo - Scrugg's style) were center stage using an omni-directional electret mic.
