Pagan Veterans Honored We're postponing our previously recorded show to bring you a very special interview with Rev. Selena Fox about the successful conclusion of the Pentacle Quest. As you know, Wiccans have struggled for about a decade with the Veterans Administration to ensure that the Pentacle is included on its list of approved religious symbols that can be placed on VA grave markers. The struggle began in 1997 and intensified a little over a year ago, when Sgt. Patrick Stewart was killed in action during Operation: Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan's Kandahar region. As a result of the joint efforts of a broad based coalition of religious groups, Pagan and other, and with the legal muscle of the ACLU and Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, the Pentacle was added to the VA's list of approved religious symbols on April 23. A special ceremony, dedicating the first three Wiccan veterans grave markers will be held Monday, May 28, 2007 at Circle Sanctuary. Finally, the show is back up. I can't even begin to tell you how happy that makes me. Today, it's just Jeva in the studio, but the others will be back soon. Conspiracy Theories, just what is it that makes them so much fun? I've spent way more time watching all sorts of conspiracy videos, but the more of them I seem, the less I can buy into them. Wiccan soldier Sgt. Patrick Stewart was killed in action when terrorists shot down his helicopter in Afghanistan in 2005. His widow requested to have a penacle placed on his gravemarker, but the VA refused, saying it was not on the list of "approved symbols." Fair enough?
