He hosted on all 3 monthly seasons of Groove FM 96.9 & 94.5 Sydney’s test broadcasts for the popular ‘Groove FM Breaky Show’ which was broadcasted for the first time on 1st October 1999 broadcast. Caggs also played for Wild FM studio's and Roberts Media for their December 2000/January 2001 broadcasts wherein he managed to attract the attention of more than 200,000 listeners and was assisting the Station Manager in recording music as well as preparing music logs as well.Chris was also actively involved with Groove FM 97.3 Brisbane's 1st 6 week broadcast that was done from Pulse FM studios and presented ‘The Breakfast Show’. He interviewed his father, Gavin Carragher, an Australian Olympian sprinter from the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, and RnB sensation ‘Joe’ known for hits like "The One For Me", "I'm In Luv" and "Stutter".
