Mormon Mental Health is an online mental health resource serving the Mormon community through hosting mental health podcasts. Mormon Mental Health was created in response to an increasing demand for an easy way to inform and connect Mormons seeking mental health services with resources and professionals that address Mormon culture, Mormon beliefs, and the issues unique to Mormon family and community systems. Mormon Mental Health is a service of Mormon Stories and the Open Stories Foundation. Mormon Stories explicitly seeks to align all operations with the Mormon Stories Shared Values Statement. Additionally, we endeavor to ensure that the projects we undertake 1) support individuals in Mormon-related faith crises, 2) save marriages where appropriate, 3) heal families, and 4) celebrate, challenge, and advance Mormon culture in healthy ways.

A Canadian (Ryan) and a Scot (Amy) talking about the words in the English language that fascinate them most at the moment, looking at their histories and origins and trying to piece together just how they got to where they are today. This is a podcast for anyone interested in etymology (the study of words and their origins/history). If you've ever found yourself happier after discovering some bizarre bit of trivia about a word that you hadn't even given a second thought to (such as how the word 'trivia' relates to its Latin components meaning "three roads"), this might just be the podcast for you.

Why is it that often the things you want to do the most in life come with the most fear attached? We unpack this question, while having conversations with people from all walks of life, about the scary things that they’re pursuing in their own lives. We work from an inclusive belief that everyone is creative and share our own scary things, because we realize that is the first step in encouraging people to do things that are scary for them. We want to build a community of people encouraging others to do things that might not come naturally at first, but will bring a lot of joy into life. Consider this your invitation to join us on Thursdays as we release new content every other week!

Join Thomas for some critical thinking on questions of science, philosophy, skepticism and politics. These serious topics are discussed with some serious guests, but in an entertaining and engaging way! This is not your typical interview podcast; it’s a friendly dialogue, conducted thoughtfully and with plenty of humor. It's Serious Inquiries Only; but like, not boring or anything.
