In Tri Talk SA this week Brad managed to catch up with South African Triathlon Olympian Richard Murray while he is on the European ITU circuit. They chatted about the insane Kitsbuhel and this weekend’s Hamburg race. Richard also gave some awesome tips on how to make the step up as an age grouper and had some wise words for beginner triathletes. You can follow Richard on Twitter here. Brad also caught up with Tracy Markham, who in a very short space of time has achieved amazing things including representing South Africa in her first year of triathlon at the 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas. There are some truly inspiring triathletes on the planet today, and I spoke to one this week on Tri Talk SA that has left an amazing impression on me. I’m hoping my interview with Pieter du Preez will do the same for you. Even if you are not into triathlon, or even sport you just have to listen to the this interview. It will leave you fired up to become better at whatever it is you do. On the show this week: I caught up with Kim Woolrich about a workshop that the Sports Science Institute of South Africa is holding for beginner Triathletes. The second episode of Tri Talk SA sees Brad chat about sports stars from other sporting codes who have crossed over to triathlon, the European Ironman circuit and find out about one of the big races on the South African calendar. This week on Tri Talk SA: Brad spoke to former Proteas cricket star and Easterns Coach Andre Nel, who completed his first Ironman South Africa in April this year. Paul Kaye joins us from Munich in Germany to talk about the European Ironman circuit and which South Africans to look out for. Damien Bradley caught up with us this week about the Midlands Ultra Triathlon that is coming up on 1 December. He has also given Tri Talk SA two entries to give away to the race.
